We also provide clear career progression paths including advancement to broader roles with ongoing education and support.What You Will Be DoingAs a Pathology Collector (Phlebotomist), you will be collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients with empathy and a focus on great customer service and quality healthcare.Your key responsibilities will include:Collecting samples (blood and non-blood) with care and attentionKeeping meticulous records for every patient and sampleDelivering documentation within strict turnaround timesPreparing and packaging specimens for transport and testingLiaising with a range of people including customers, clinic staff and couriersWhat Type of Person Will Be SuccessfulTo be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Pathology Collector, or will have gained a Cert III and be looking to embark on a Pathology Collection career. You could also be a Registered Nurse seeking regular daytime shifts instead of weekend/overnight work. If you have no pathology experience but a customer service and healthcare background, we can support you to grow with fully paid training and mentoring.
