Workout & Recovery LeaderAs Dynamoney continues to grow and mature its lending and asset management operations, the effective management of stressed and delinquent accounts is critical to maintaining portfolio quality, protecting profitability, and ensuring sustainable growth.The Workout & Recovery Leader will be accountable for owning and leading all aspects of latestage account management, recovery strategy, and loss mitigation. This includes direct oversight of external recovery partners, legal processes, and asset disposal, as well as providing strategic insights into asset valuations and portfolio risk trends.This is a senior, handson role requiring a commercially minded, pragmatic leader who combines strong credit recovery expertise with asset management acumen and operational discipline. The successful candidate will act as the organisation''s centre of excellence for workouts, recoveries, and residual value management, working crossfunctionally to continuously improve performance and reduce loss outcomes.Key ResponsibilitiesOwn LateStage and Delinquent Account ManagementLead the endtoend management of delinquent and defaulted accounts, ensuring all exit strategies are clear, commercially sound, and focused on minimising loss.Oversee all account workout activity from initial arrears through to final resolution ensuring timely and effective action is taken.Design and maintain robust frameworks, processes, and escalation paths for distressed and impaired assets.Provide clear reporting and insight to leadership on portfolio health, recovery performance, and expected loss outcomes.Lead External Recovery and Asset Management PartnersOwn the relationships with all thirdparty providers including repossession agents, valuers, auction houses, and legal partners.Establish, maintain, and monitor servicelevel agreements (SLAs) to ensure consistency, transparency, and performance accountability.Continuously assess provider capability and outcomes, identifying opportunities to improve recovery efficiency and costeffectiveness.Ensure all partner activities are aligned with Dynamoney''s brand, conduct, and compliance standards.Provide Asset Management and Valuation ExpertiseAct as the internal subjectmatter expert on asset valuation, condition, and disposal strategies across all asset classes.Support portfolio and underwriting teams with datadriven insights into residual values, depreciation trends, and market demand.Leverage valuation insights to optimise repossession and disposal outcomes and inform forwardlooking risk and pricing models.Partner Across Risk, Portfolio, and Underwriting FunctionsWork closely with Portfolio Management to provide realtime feedback and identify emerging risks or stress signals in specific sectors, industries, or asset types.Collaborate with Underwriting to ensure current credit and asset policies adequately reflect market conditions and risk appetite.Share lessons learned and recovery insights to continuously improve decisionmaking across the credit lifecycle.Manage Legal and Litigation ActivitiesOversee all legal and litigation work associated with defaulted accounts, ensuring outcomes are commercially justified and costeffective.Manage relationships with external legal counsel, monitoring case progress, outcomes, and spend efficiency.Ensure recoveries, settlements, and writeoffs are managed within policy and documented in accordance with regulatory and internal standards.Build and manage wingtowing framework & realtime reporting capabilityEnsure realtime reporting capability exists via dashboards that show by account, the current state & expected loss outcomes, ensuring management has realtime line of sight to all loss & recovery data.Candidate ProfileProven experience in workout, recoveries, or asset management leadership within asset finance, equipment finance, or related financial services.Deep understanding of the endtoend recovery process, from arrears management to repossession, litigation, and disposal.Strong commercial judgement and negotiation skills, with the ability to balance financial recovery objectives with relationship management.Expertise in asset valuation and secondary market dynamics, particularly across commercial and SME lending sectors.Demonstrated experience managing thirdparty service providers, with a track record of improving partner performance through clear SLAs and accountability frameworks.Skilled communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively across functions credit, risk, operations, and finance and influence at all levels.Structured, analytical, and pragmatic, with a focus on achieving measurable outcomes.Comfortable working in a dynamic, highgrowth environment, bringing discipline, governance, and clarity to complex situations.Committed to living the Dynamoney Values daily and building a culture of performance, accountability, and integrity.Key Outcomes / Success MeasuresClear, consistent, and effective exit strategies implemented across all delinquent and defaulted accounts.Tangible reduction in net loss and improvement in recovery rates.Highperforming external recovery and valuation partner network with measurable SLA compliance.Strengthened asset valuation and insight capability across the organisation.Enhanced collaboration and feedback loops between Workout, Portfolio, and Underwriting teams.Legal and litigation processes delivering efficient, commercially sound outcomes.About DynamoneyDynamoney is a fastgrowing, innovative asset finance, business lending and insurance premium finance provider that partners with brokers and customers to deliver tailored funding solutions across Australia''s SME sector.
