Humpty Doo Barramundi is Australia''s biggest Barramundi farm. This 100% family owned and operated farm prides itself on growing a premium saltwater Barramundi for Australias retail and food service. Our mission is to responsibly produce beautiful Australian Barramundi while demonstrating our genuine care for and commitment to our people, fish, environment and partners. Humpty Doo Barramundi has a sizable fleet of farm-going vehicles that require regular maintenance and servicing. We require a fitter or mechanic that has experience working on farms, stations or communities. In this role you will be part of the maintenance team that looks after mobile and fixed plant. HDB has grown to be the largest producer of premium Barramundi in Australia. The company has succeeded through unique approaches to problem solving in an unconventional environment. Essential Skills and Qualifications Experience with hydraulics and pneumatic systems Exposure to auto electrical fault finding Automotive air conditioning experience Exposure to fixed plant maintenance (gensets and pumps) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Experience with farm machinery Good mechanical aptitude Ability to work collaboratively within a small team environment HR or current drivers licence Highrisk licences DG, RB, CN, CB highly regarded Current WSH & CS advantageous but not essential Experience with the following mobile equipment is highly regarded Toyota LVs Petrol and Diesel Acco Kubota and Case tractors Forklift repairs and maintenance We encourage Darwin locals to apply for this position.
