Driver/Light Vehicle Shift: 8am-5pm (M-F)Westbrook, ME 04092Duration: 2+ Months This position is NonExempt. Hours over 40 will be paid at Time and a Half. Drive a van, panel truck, box truck or similar four-wheel vehicle. Will be driving 8+ hours/day. Will flex in the warehouse and/or production floor if deliveries are light. Previous experience and a clean driving record required. The driver will primarily be transporting raw materials and may need to transport small quantities of chemicals (potentially dangerous goods but in limited quantities). May require light back belt. Is also responsible for ensuring all inventory is maintained accurately and provided to required areas in a timely manner. Job Duties Perform Material Movements both physically and systematically. Generate Work Orders from an ERP system. Perform Work Order Receipts in ERP system. Perform cycle counting as required. Maintain a neat and safe work environment. Assist in the coordination and flow of product through manufacturing and assembly when needed. Work in a cross functional team environment. Handle hazardous chemicals with proper training provided. May need to work occasional overtime as required to support business needs. Support all company initiatives as identified by management and in support of Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), and other regulatory requirements. Comply with U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, other regulatory requirements, company policies, operating procedures, processes, and task assignments. Maintain positive and cooperative communication and collaboration with all levels of employees, customers, contractors, and vendors. Perform other related duties and responsibilities on occasion as assigned.
