About Uniting Yamba Uniting Caroona Yamba has five separate households, each with between 1522 residents, including a secure Memory Support Unit for people living with dementia. Role Overview As a Registered Nurse at Uniting Yamba, you will be at the forefront of delivering exceptional person-centred care to our residents. Your clinical expertise and compassionate approach will ensure that each resident received the highest standard of care tailored to their individual needs. Key Responsibilities You will be a clinical leader in the service, and you will develop, deliver and evaluate resident care plans to meet the individual needs of our residents Youll need sharp clinical assessment skills and will take the lead in providing clinical services Get to know each resident and become a fundamental part of their life Play an important role in making sure the care provided meets residents individual goals Youll liaise with medical and allied health professionals and residents family members to advocate for clients quality of life Supervise and support our Personal Care Workers Practice in a holistic way, using your critical decision-making skills to lead the team. Qualifications & Experience Hold a Bachelor of Nursing degree with current registration (AHPRA). Youll be adaptable, empathetic, resourceful, a great time manager, and be able to live Unitings everyday values of being compassionate, respectful, imaginative, and bold. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage time effectively and adapt to changing priorities. Empathy, resilience, and a genuine passion for enhancing the lives of older residents. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking abilities. While experience in aged or community care is highly desirable, we welcome applications from new graduates and Registered Nurses from other healthcare settings who are keen to transition into aged care.
