The Role We have permanent fulltime positions available in Castlemaine on both day and afternoon shifts. Both shifts include rostered days off; afternoon shifts receive additional penalty rates. Day Shift (5:00am 3:00pm) Starting pay rate $24.58 per hour + RDO (subject to availability) Day Shift (6:00am 3:00pm) Starting pay rate $24.58 per hour + RDO Afternoon Shift (3:00pm Midnight) Starting pay rate $28.26 per hour (including penalty) + RDO Your duties may include but are not limited to: Operate and maintain machinery and equipment used in meat processing, including tasks such as packing, slicing, lifting, pushing, pulling, holding, and carrying. Handle both raw and cooked meat products. Adhere to strict food safety and quality standards throughout the production process. Maintain a clean and organised work environment. Collaborate with the production team and supervisors to ensure smooth production flow and achieve daily targets. Rotate tasks to ensure variety in daily duties. Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency. About You A strong commitment to safe work practices at all times. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well with other team members. Ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment while completing repetitive tasks. Able to stand for extended periods. Comfortably lift weights of 1520kg frequently. Able to work in chilled temperature rooms. A hardworking attitude and the ability to communicate and interact with people at all levels. Commitment to following established procedures and health and safety practices. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team. A genuine commitment to fulltime working hours. Must pass a preemployment medical, including drug and alcohol screening. Previous factory experience is not a requirement. All employment comes with paid onthejob training. To be considered for this role, you must have full work rights in Australia.
