Our team of more than 500 professionals including radiographers, sonographers, nuclear medicine technologists, nurses, clerical staff and 70 radiologists share a strong commitment to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care through innovation, collaboration and clinical excellence.About the roleAn exciting leadership opportunity has become available at our Bankstown Lidcombe Medical Imaging practice.We are seeking an experienced and people focused Administrator in Charge who is passionate about leading a team, delivering exceptional patient experiences, and supporting a well established, high performing administrative team.This role is ideal for someone who values being a people leader and takes pride in guiding, mentoring, and supporting an existing team to continue delivering outstanding service to patients, radiologists, and referring clinicians.In this position you will be responsible for the seamless day-to-day operation of our radiology practice. You will provide strong onsite leadership, oversee administrative workflows, and act as a key point of coordination between patients, staff, and clinicians.Day-to-day responsibilities will include but are not limited to:Foster a welcoming, respectful, and patient-focused atmosphere, ensuring consistently high standards of service.Oversee appointment bookings across multiple imaging modalities, optimising resources and workflow efficiency.Act as the primary point of contact between radiologists, referring doctors, and medical staff to support effective collaboration.Develop, manage, and adjust staff rosters to ensure appropriate coverage, optimise workflow, and maintain team satisfaction.Manage billing, payments, and account reconciliations, ensuring accuracy and compliance with Medicare and relevant regulations.Ensure adherence to legal, ethical, and procedural requirements, including Medicare processes and internal policies.Regularly review administrative workflows and performance to ensure alignment with organisational goals and best practices.Background and experienceProven experience in supervising, mentoring, and supporting administrative staff in a healthcare or medical setting.Strong understanding of radiology or general medical practice administration, including scheduling, billing, and compliance with Medicare and other relevant regulations.Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with staff, patients, radiologists, and referring doctors, fostering collaboration and a positive team culture.Experience managing billing, payments, and reconciliations, with a strong understanding of healthcare compliance requirements.Strong attention to detail and a patient centered approach.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaborationAs part of joining the team at Carlisle, you will have access to a range of benefits including:Competitive remunerationCareer growth and development opportunitiesBenefits platform Provides everyday savings for employees, including discounts at hundreds of retailers and thousands of locations (groceries, fuel, health and more).Fitness Passport Access top fitness centres & pools across Australia at a subsidised rate.Confidential health and wellbeing support through our Employee Assistance Program available to all employees and their families.Our commitment to Diversity, Equity and InclusionAt Carlisle Health, we believe everyone deserves the chance to thrive.
