While the centre is based in Macquarie, its impact will extend across the country to all our sites and your role from our Gosford office will be essential in bringing these advancements to life.Job DescriptionThe RoleNextSense has an exciting opportunity for a Speech Pathologist to join our team in Gosford. This is a Temporary Part Time role for 12 months working 22.8 hours per week (days to be confirmed) reporting directly to the Team Lead.This role is essential to providing early intervention and speech pathology services to clients across the Central Coast, and broader NextSense Network. The role encompasses early intervention hearing and allied health speech pathology services such as AAC, mealtime management and complex speech disorders.Fundamental in continuing to achieve our strategic horizon of enhanced outcomes and access for more people, youll make a difference in this role by:providing high quality, client-centred early intervention and/or speech pathology services to clients with a hearing loss and/or vision impairmentconducting speech, language and communication assessments to monitor and track outcomes and inform goalsdeveloping, delivering and evaluating ISP and progress reports with the client, family and relevant othersimplementing best practice services for clients in clinical and educational settingsproviding evidence-based assessment, intervention supports and other strategies to assist clients in achieving their goals and aspirationsdelivering services in person, via telepractice, in a NextSense centre, client home, school or other appropriate settingusing a person/family centred framework when providing services, working alongside parents/caregivers to guide, coach and educatedeveloping, delivering and evaluating Individual Support Plans and progress reports with the client, their family and relevant othersWhat we can offer youCompetitive remuneration100% salary packaging allowing you to increase your take home payGenerous leave provisionsAccess to industry leading education and professional developmentWellbeing program including Employee Assistance ProgramDesired Skills and ExperienceTo be successful in this role you''ll need to demonstrate you meet the following selection criteria.Bachelor in speech pathology or equivalentMinimum 3 years experience providing speech pathology servicesSound clinical skills and knowledgeCollaborative contributor to client outcomes as a member of a multidisciplinary teamValid driver''s licenceWorking With Children with NDIS Worker checkPrior experience working with clients with a sensory disabilityWere here to help.
