Stawell Gold Mines is an underground gold mine located in Stawell, 236km northwest of Melbourne. Underground Grader and Water Truck Operators A great opportunity exists for hardworking individuals to join SHS Civil. Positions for underground grader and water truck operators at the Stawell Gold Mine have become available. These positions will be permanent fulltime engagements working 7/7 days, nights, on/off. Duties and Responsibilities Operating machinery efficiently, safely, and competently to ensure maximum output; Complying with Company policies and procedures; Responding to instructions from your Shift Supervisor; Maintaining haul roads, declines underground and surface; Carrying out prestart checks; Completing paperwork as required. Preferred Skills & Experience Grader experience preferred but the right candidate can be trained; Ability to work well with others in a team environment; Ability to work unsupervised; Ability to pass a preemployment medical and drug screen; Current Heavy Rigid truck Licence; Have an excellent safety record and an ongoing, strong commitment to workplace safety.
