You will be responsible for delivering high-quality service, patient care, handling equipment, and transportation services while contributing to the overall performance of the operating suite.ResponsibilitiesAssisting clinicians and team members with patient preparationPreparing and maintaining operating suite equipmentProviding safe patient transport within the operating suite and interdepartmental transfersQualificationsMust have completed a Certificate III Theatre Technician qualificationMinimum 12 months clinical experience as a theatre technician in an acute operating theatreYou must have a clear understanding and use of medical terminologyUnderstanding of, and ability to set-up medical devices / theatresFlexible working arrangements to best match your work/life balance committed to a rotating roster (mix of AM, PM, twilight and Saturday shifts)About Epworth EasternPosition Description Inherent Requirements Located in Box Hill, Epworth Eastern is a state-of-the-art facility with 14 theatres and expansion of ICU to 12 beds. Epworth Eastern maintains a broad clinical focus from cardiac, vascular, orthopaedic and general surgery to oncology, urology and endoscopy services.
