At Everyday Independence, you''ll find job stability, structured mentoring and supervision, continuous learning and professional development, career pathways and a valuesdriven culture.About the RoleWe are looking for Key Workers to deliver interventions to NDIS participants (specifically children aged 0-8) and their families that lead to positive, lifechanging outcomes. Availability and commitment to support before/after school appointments is essential, as this is the most highly requested time for Key Workers to provide therapy to their participants.What a Typical Day May Look LikeWorking in diverse settings: homes, schools, playgrounds, and community centres.Attending a family''s home to conduct their initial appointment, utilizing assessment and communication skills to get to know them, their child and goals.Collaborating with a kindergarten teacher at a preschool to support a child in developing their motor skills.Coaching parents through finding a school that best suits their young child''s needs.Working collaboratively with a Speech Pathologist and family members to support a child in developing communication and social skills.Building meaningful relationships with participants and their supports (family, carers, friends).Documenting and billing for each session through our online participant management system.Providing support for a 5yearold after school to establish consistent routines.Attending the weekly team meeting in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee and laughs.Meeting with Team Leader and Therapy Mentor to tap into clinical knowledge and/or support.Dropping into an online mentoring session to build knowledge of using Assistive Technology with a participant and exploring behavioral support strategies.Who We Are Looking ForAt Everyday Independence, our team thrives on shared values and a collaborative spirit.
