In this role you''ll lead a small onsite team and play a key part in delivering essential civil works across the water infrastructure space. This is a permanent fulltime role with the chance to build your skills, and the opportunity to develop your career in the water industry.Responsibilities include:General labouring including site preparation and onsite supportInstallation of new water pipelines, new customer connections and backfillingOperating stateoftheart plant & equipmentLeading a small team of 13 crew membersYour background may be from one of the following:Civil construction or pipelayingWater or wastewater infrastructureConfined space experience and/or Sewer experience is idealOr you might be looking to break into the industry, either way we would like to chat with you - We value our people and are ready to invest in you, providing all required training!You will bring:Valid Drivers LicenceOHS Construction Induction Card (White card)Previous experience leading small crews onsiteThe ability to work on sites across Western MelbourneGood work ethic and positive work attitude with a strong focus on safetyHR or MR licence, excavator or skidsteer tickets are desirable but not essential (we can also provide these)To make sure that you''re fully fit to join our team you will also need to pass our preemployment medical which includes a drug & alcohol test.
