Every moment matters and every client counts.Position Join us as a Lifestyles Assistant and contribute to the social, emotional, spiritual and psychological wellbeing of residents.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and facilitate a range of activities for residents, including one-to-one, small group, large group, community linkages, outings and specialist services.Monitor and evaluate lifestyle activity programs and projects for individual residents and/or group activities.Provide leadership through interaction with volunteers and other staff; support a team environment and culture.Carry out other duties consistent with the purpose of the position as directed by team leaders, the Lifestyle Services Coordinator, or the Residential Services Manager.What You''ll BringTo succeed in this role, you will have:Good communication skills, including the ability to speak and write clearly and accurately.Ability to communicate with a range of people including older people, staff, volunteers and visitors, particularly in relation to care of residents.Ability to personalise the service by identifying what is important to each individual client and including this in their daily care routine.Organisational skills including the ability to prioritise workload.Ability to empathise with a diverse range of people.Ability to adapt and use a variety of ways to support individuals.Valid NDIS Worker Screening clearance or willingness to obtain one.Preferred QualificationsA certificate or equivalent qualification related to Lifestyle ServicesCurrent First Aid certificatePlease click the link below to view the position description:Lifestyles Assistant Position DescriptionWhy Helping Hand?We are committed to more than just a salary.
