In operation since 1987, every Jardan piece is designed, crafted and assembled at our Production site in Melbourne, retaining skills whilst focusing on a premium made to order process bound by sustainability and quality.What We Are Looking ForWe are seeking full time Timber Machinists to join our Production Team in Scoresby. The hours of work for this role are Monday to Thursday 6.30am to 3.00pm and Friday 6.30am to 12.30pm. This role has the potential to work additional overtime hours in the afternoon.The Role IncludesOperation of Flatbeds, Buzzer, Thicknesser, Panel & Docking Saws, Straight Line Rip Saw and Timber press equipmentOperation of Spindle Moulder, Edgebander, Sanding machines and Mortice equipmentReading and interpreting Working DrawingsProcess jobs in our in-house software systemComplying with safety requirements and actively participating in safety improvement initiativesMaintain stock level informationIdentifying quality issues and resolving root cause issues with Factory teamsComplete appropriate documentation and recording information on computerised programsRead and interpret various types of construction/architectural diagramsOther tasks as reasonably expected by reporting line Managers and SupervisorsWhat We ProvideConvenient suburban work location in Scoresby12.30pm finish on FridaysAbove award rates of payTraining and career development opportunitiesOvertime hours paid at award overtime rates of payPlease email your resume and cover letter to our People and Culture team using the link below or via [email protected]#J-18808-Ljbffr
