The position is part-time 0.8FTE (30 hpw) with flexibility to negotiate working these hours across either 4 or 5 days.About the roleThe Human Resources Officer assists the Human Resources Manager (HRM) with a diverse range of HR functions to support the organisation to meet its strategic goals. The role is both employee-facing and admin-based. Duties include but are not limited to:Endtoend recruitment onboarding and induction, employmentrelated letters and contract preparation, performance review processing, HR Information System (ELMO) processing, records management, compliance checks, and exiting proceduresAward review and interpretation, including providing HRrelated advice to team membersLearning and development maintaining and reporting on professional development and training requestsWorkplace, Health and Safety (WHS) assist with coordinating WHS structures and associated activities such as staff wellbeing, training, administration, incident reporting, WHS inspectionsEEO and antidiscrimination contribute to initiatives and training to promote equity and antidiscrimination and ensure compliance with legislationCompliance and reporting assist the HRM to prepare regular HR and WHS statistics and reportsQualifications and experienceOur ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in Human Resources and demonstrated experience in a supportive human resources role.
