The OpportunityWe''re looking for an experienced and handson Maintenance Fitter to join our Goodman Fielder team in Hobart. This fulltime, salaried position works Tuesday to Saturday, including one full factory shutdown day dedicated to maintenance. In this role you will be a key part of our highperforming Operations team, ensuring our equipment is safe, reliable and running at its best. If you are mechanically strong, safetyfocused and enjoy problemsolving, this is a fantastic opportunity to grow your career with a leading FMCG manufacturer.What You Will DoComplete preventative and reactive maintenance across plant equipment.Diagnose mechanical faults and carry out repairs, modifications and service work.Prioritise maintenance tasks and respond to breakdowns as the first point of contact.Support engineering standards through effective SH&E and QA reporting.Participate in training and contribute to continuous improvement activity across the site.What You Will BringMechanical trade qualification.Strong technical and diagnostic capability with experience in fastpaced environments.Risk assessment skills and a strong safety mindset.Good communication, teamwork and numeracy skills.Full working rights in Australia.Who We AreAt Goodman Fielder, our purpose is making everyday food better for everyone.
