As a Carpenter at GEE Homes Pty Ltd, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made of wood, plywood, and other materials. Your role will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of our projects and maintaining our high standards of quality.Key ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the materials and tools needed for each projectMeasure, cut, and shape wood, plywood, and other materials according to the project requirementsInstall structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, floorings, and trim, using hand and power toolsRepair or replace damaged or defective parts of structures and fixturesInspect and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working conditionFollow all safety protocols and regulations while working on-siteCollaborate with other team members, including contractors and subcontractors, to ensure timely and efficient completion of projectsCommunicate with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on the progress of projectsMaintain a clean and organized work area at all timesRequirementsMinimum of 2 years of experience as a Carpenter in the construction industryTrade certificate or equivalent qualification in CarpentryStrong knowledge of carpentry techniques and methods, as well as building codes and safety regulationsProficient in using hand and power tools, including saws, drills, and sandersAbility to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specificationsExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detailStrong communication and teamwork skillsPhysically fit and able to lift heavy materials and equipmentValid driver''s license and reliable transportationWillingness to work overtime and occasional weekends as neededBenefitsCompetitive salary of $75,000 per yearSuperannuation contributionsOpportunities for career growth and developmentSupportive and collaborative work environmentDiverse range of projects to work onCompany-provided tools and equipmentPaid time off and holidaysApplyTo apply for this position please submit your resume via the "apply now" link below.
