Relief Teachers, Education Assistants, and Administration staff contribute to the continuity of learning and care by supporting classroom programs, student wellbeing, and daily school operations as required.Working collaboratively with teachers, leadership, and support staff, relief team members uphold the College''s vision and values, foster positive relationships, and help maintain a safe, orderly, and welcoming school culture. This role supports students'' academic, social, emotional, and spiritual growth while contributing to the smooth and effective functioning of our College community.Key ResponsibilitiesKey responsibilities include:Relief Teacher:Deliver engaging, age-appropriate learning programs in line with provided lesson plans and College expectationsCreate a safe, inclusive, and Christ-centred classroom environment that supports student learning and wellbeingMaintain effective classroom management and positive behaviour supportBuild respectful relationships with students and staff, providing continuity of learningCommunicate relevant information to classroom teachers and leadership as requiredRelief Education Assistant:Support student learning under the direction of the classroom teacher, including small groups or individual studentsAssist students with academic tasks, social skills, and emotional regulationSupport students with additional learning or pastoral needsHelp maintain a positive, orderly, and inclusive learning environmentSupervise students during class and transitions as requiredRelief Administration:Provide front office support, including welcoming families and visitors in a professional and friendly mannerAssist with daily administrative tasks such as data entry, attendance, communication, and general enquiriesSupport the smooth operation of the school by responding to changing daily needsMaintain confidentiality and professionalism in all interactionsWork collaboratively with leadership and staff to uphold the College''s values and cultureQualifications & ExperienceTeaching applicants: Must be registered to teach in Western Australia with the TRBWA (Teacher Registration Board) and hold a relevant Tertiary Qualifications as a teacher including experience with the WA & Australian Curriculum or a similar School Curriculum.Have a current Federal Police Clearance and Working with Children Check.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Candidate ProfileYou will be:A practicing Christian, aligned with and committed to modelling the College''s ethos and core values (Pastor''s reference required)Enthusiastic about nurturing the "whole child"academically, emotionally, spiritually, and sociallyInnovative and adaptable, balancing teacher-directed instruction with student-centred learning strategiesCollegial, wellorganised, and proactive with strong interpersonal and communication skillsConditions of EmploymentThe successful applicant will be employed in accordance with the employment requirements and conditions of Foundation Christian College:A Pastoral/Church reference.A detailed resume covering current position, areas of responsibility and prior positions.Applications will only be accepted with a completed Teaching Application form found on the College website.A detailed resume outlining your experience and suitability for the role.Pastor''s reference, current TRBWA registration (or willingness to obtain), and Working With Children Check.Your application will include the following questions:Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in Australia?Do you have a current Police Check (National Police Certificate) for employment?Do you have a current Working With Children (WWC) Check?#J-18808-Ljbffr
