Job Description

OverviewUnyte is seeking an experienced Truck / Float Driver to support civil construction projects by safely and efficiently transporting materials, equipment and machinery to and from site. This is a hands-on role suited to a professional driver who takes pride in vehicle presentation, safety compliance and working collaboratively with site teams. You''ll play a key role in keeping projects moving while upholding the highest standards of road safety, fatigue management and site compliance.Your everydayOperate company vehicles (tippers, flatbeds, water carts and floats) safely and efficientlyTransport materials, plant and equipment to and from project sitesEnsure all loads comply with mass, dimension and load restraint requirementsComplete daily pre-start checks and report defects promptlyComply with road rules, HVNL, Chain of Responsibility and company safety proceduresApply fatigue management practices in line with NHVR requirementsMaintain vehicle cleanliness, presentation and professionalism at all timesSupport site and yard operations, including loading/unloading, labouring and team coordinationWho are you?Valid HR / HC / MC licence relevant to the vehicle operatedWhite Card (Construction Induction)Minimum 2 years'' heavy vehicle driving experience in a civil or construction environmentStrong understanding of road transport legislation, NHVR compliance and CoR obligationsAbility to complete required paperwork accurately (run sheets, dockets, timesheets)Reliable, safety-focused and professional approach to workWillingness to assist with manual and site-based tasks when requiredAdditional tickets desirable (BFM, load restraint/mass management, First Aid)A career with usAt Unyte, we''ve always known that people and performance make amazing things happen.
