This is your opportunity to deliver person-centred care in a supportive environment while enjoying the lifestyle of regional Victoria.About the RoleAs a Speech Pathologist, you will work autonomously, managing a varied and diverse workload in predominantly home-based and clinic settings, with no nursing home work. You''ll join a multidisciplinary team including Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Podiatry, Social Work, and Speech Pathology, supported by Allied Health Assistants. A comprehensive orientation program, along with supervision and support opportunities, will ensure your success.What You''ll DoDeliver person-centred speech pathology services in home and clinic settings across a regional areaCollaborate with clients, carers, and families to provide practical solutions for independence and safetyProvide specialist intervention for clients with dysphagia and complex communication disordersAdvise on appropriate communication aids and devicesDevelop goals and care plans to help clients remain active and independent in their communityWork with a diverse range of clients and health conditionsParticipate in student training programs and service development/quality improvement initiativesWho We''re Looking ForQualifications: Bachelor of Applied Science (Speech Pathology) or equivalentProfessional Membership: Member of Speech Pathology Australia (SPA) and participating in the SPA professional self-regulation programExperience: Knowledge and experience in delivering speech pathology services in home and community-based settings, including management of adult clients with dysphagiaAdvocacy: Ability to liaise and advocate across health and community care systemsSkills: Strong clinical, communication, and organizational skillsSponsorship: Suitably qualified candidates eligible for employer-nominated sponsorship (ANZSCO 252712)Live, Work, and Thrive in Regional VictoriaNestled in a vibrant regional area of Victoria, this location offers the perfect blend of career opportunity and lifestyle.
