Join QBuild, a dynamic team providing statewide planning, building and maintenance services that utilise local suppliers and QBuild tradespeople and apprentices. This role offers the opportunity to manage capital works programs from pre design through to post occupancy evaluation, with a strong focus on quality outcomes, profitability and cash flow for stakeholders.Key ResponsibilitiesManage end-to-end building projects across pre-design, design, documentation, contract administration and post-occupancy evaluation.Deliver capital works programs with a strong focus on quality, delivery performance, profitability and cash flow.Lead stakeholder engagement and negotiations with clients, consultants, contractors and local authorities to ensure value for money outcomes.Provide procurement advice, project programming support and high-level contract coordination across traditional and non-traditional contract systems.Maintain accurate project data in Ellipse, including billing, scheduling, reporting and contract payment processes, and support fee setting and billing approvals.Coordinate regional capital-related reports, monitor project performance, control variances and undertake exception reporting and project audits.Contribute to the continuous improvement of quality assurance processes and apply workplace health and safety principles throughout project delivery.What We''re Looking ForDegree in Project Management or Construction Management.Strong experience in project contract management across building and construction.Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.Knowledge of MS Project is highly desirable.Ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results within tight timeframes.Whilst not mandatory, experience with Correctional, Fire, Justice or Police projects, along with a relevant tertiary qualification such as Project Management, Architecture, Engineering, Town Planning or Quantity Surveying, and/or AIPM RegPM certification, would be highly regarded.ApplyTo be considered for this position, please apply directly via Seek with an updated CV and cover letter in Microsoft Word format.
