Auto ElectricianHitachi Construction Machinery Australia (HCA) invites applications for the Auto Electrician position within our Perth team.About UsHCA is a global brand supplying machinery to the Construction, Mining and Forestry industries.OpportunityDue to growth in our Western Region, we have an exciting opportunity for a motivated and enthusiastic individual. You will be based at our Perth Branch, working across multiple sites primarily supporting new-build commissioning, completing electrical installations, configuration, pre-deployment testing on newly delivered mining equipment, electrical troubleshooting services and maintenance, component installations and repairs on various plant and product lines throughout the Western region.This permanent role offers a 2 on / 2 off roster and access to OEM training to build a longterm career with a global company.ResponsibilitiesPerform diagnostic evaluation and electrical maintenance service on a broad range of Hitachi machinery.Liaise with technical support staff to achieve efficient outcomes and assist in product improvements.Complete and submit all relevant documentation and reporting paperwork.Maintain good working relationships with customers, peers and other departments.Identify continuous improvement opportunities within your area of responsibility.QualificationsAustralian Accredited Auto Electrical or High Voltage Electrical qualification.Current driver''s licence.Demonstrated experience with mobile plant and heavy mining equipment.Previous field service exposure would be beneficial.Willingness to attend multiple sites.Demonstrated experience and solid understanding of mining equipment maintenance.Understanding of Workplace Health & Safety and proactive in reducing hazards.Excellent diagnostic, problemsolving and technical skills.Ability to work both in a team and autonomously.BenefitsTop rates plus an extra $4 per hour for the Pilbara / $2 per hour for the Gold Fields.Two bonuses a year.Discounted health insurance policy.Permanent fulltime position ensuring longterm job security.A range of goods and services and retail stores with exclusive staff discounts.Seniority LevelEntry levelEmployment typeFulltimeJob functionEngineering and Information TechnologyIndustriesMachinery ManufacturingAt Hitachi, we are proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer who recruits based on merit and capabilities.
