Responsibilities include:Stripping, assessing, repairing and testing mechanical seals, couplings and associated equipmentConsistent and timely completion of service-related documentationScheduling of jobs for repairComplete inspection and test plans consistent with meeting the required corporate compliance standardsCollect background operational detail required to support engineering assistance in specifying materials for seals for unusual duties or duties not quoted previouslyPrepare repair work quotations and associated documentationWork with document control systemsAssist in root cause analysis investigationsOffer troubleshooting advice and reliability solutions in conjunction and collaboration with company technical personnel as requiredWork with sales and technical support staff in generating business opportunitiesArrange and attend client visits as required (Oil & Gas & Mine sites)Development and maintenance of systems and computer skills as requiredConduct training for internal and external stakeholders as requiredComplete periodic reporting requirements as agreed with managementOther duties as requiredQualificationsMechanical Fitter by trade with four years industry experience post apprenticeship in rotating machinery including product machining (turning, drilling, milling) and handson experience in reliability enhancement preferred.Additional InformationWith colleagues stretching across the globe we are proud of our diversity.
