Driven by creativity and inspired by the future, we set out every day to reframe the possible.About the RoleTexture Artists are responsible for the creation of a diverse range of texture maps required for computergenerated creatures and hardsurface models used in production. Texture artists work closely with modelers, lookdevelopment and environment artists to create photoreal assets for highend visual effects projects.What You''ll DoProduce highquality texture maps for assets at your skill level.Collaborate with the CG Supervisor, Lead Texture & Lookdev Artists to execute the required look of CG characters and hardsurface assets.Maintain efficient communication with the Look Dev, Modelling, Environment and Production departments.Execute quality control of texture maps prior to publishing to ensure consistency.Respect schedules and deadlines while delivering texture maps of the highest standard.Communicate with Production and Leads regarding schedules and deadlines.Share workflow techniques, ideas & reference materials with the team.Keep your skills current & uptodate with new tools, software and other related technology.Extensive knowledge and production experience of Mari, Substance Painter, Designer and Photoshop.Experience in a 3D package.Ability to work within a team of other Texture Artists or independently.A commitment to creative collaboration within the team and with other departments.Proactive and excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills.Creative problemsolving skills.The proven ability to work well under pressure.Open to direction and able to embrace change.Attention to detail.Reliable with good timekeeping and ability to meet set deadlines.Previous film experience.Modelling and Lookdev skills or experience.You might also haveTraditional arts background.Previous film experience.Accessibility StatementOur Melbourne studio is fully accessible, with stepfree entry, accessible toilets, and quiet spaces available.
