The role supports the implementation of a highvalue donor identification and stewardship program to strengthen legacy giving for Guide Dogs and VisAbility, in alignment with the organization''s funding objectives.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the Senior Program Manager Planned Giving to manage the donor pipeline from midlevel and major gift identification to Gift in Will (GIW) pledgers.Administer bequest processes, including documentation, record keeping, reporting and compliance.Develop pipeline strategies to identify and cultivate potential GIW pledgers from the existing database and prospective new donors.Identify legacy gift opportunities that align with donor motivations and the funding objectives of Guide Dogs and VisAbility WA.Deliver stewardship communications and experiences (personalised thankyou letters, events, recognition opportunities) for GIW pledgers and legacy donors.Maintain stewardship records, assist in compiling data for reporting against income targets and measuring activity efficacy.Collaborate with Marketing & Fundraising and service teams to ensure consistent messaging.Ensure all GIWrelated data is uptodate and appropriately recorded in the database, including new records for Estates and confirmed GIW pledgers and legacy donors and prospects.Prepare regular reports against pipeline activity and income as directed by the Senior Program Manager Planned Giving.Essential Skills and AttributesHigh attention to detail, strong commitment to confidentiality, proficiency in donor database management.Proven experience in bequest coordination, major gifts and legacy giving.Understanding of compliant and effective management of highlevel financial gifts in a notforprofit compliance framework.Demonstrated prospect identification and pipeline management experience.Experience converting prospects to philanthropic gifts.Positive, collaborative, resultsdriven approach.Exceptional written and verbal communication; high interpersonal engagement.Excellent organisational abilities, timemanagement and planning skills.Strong relationshipbuilding and donor stewardship skills.Passion for securing longterm support for Guide Dogs and VisAbility.Required Compliance DocumentsNational Police ClearanceNDIS Worker Screening CheckValid Driver''s LicenceBenefitsUp to 3 days additional paid leave during yearend holiday season.Salary packaging.17.5% annual leave loading where applicable.Free parking and easy public transport access.Free onsite gym facilities.Culture that values flexibility and supports worklife balance.Ongoing professional development and training.Employee Assistance Program.How to apply?Applications close at 4:00 PM on Thursday, 29 January 2026.
