Our Bar & Grill in Kingpin Melbourne is set to delight, featuring a state-of-the-art open kitchen including a Josper Grill and a pizza oven we know will be running hot into the night! With a menu curated specifically for this new venue, this will be a kitchen you will be proud to manage.ResponsibilitiesMeet operational standards to meet guest expectations and aligning to our company mission and valuesDeliver on all aspects of a high-volume kitchen, including the execution of Group & Corporate events, collaborating with other Heads of Department for the best outcomesExecute the menu + also create weekly specials to consistently meet standards and delight our guestsLead the kitchen team by modelling the importance of the operation and the guest experience, being hands on and working WITH the team!Train new team members and ensure training compliance in your team and adherence to SOPsDeliver on budgetary targets by efficient ordering, managing wastage, managing the scheduling of team and identifying opportunities alongside your General Manager for cost controlEnthusiastically drive & implement any new menus and F&B promotionsKey attributes & capabilitiesProven experience as a Head Chef or strong Senior Sous Chef in high-volume restaurants or premium casual dining environments, where you have been hands on and happy to roll up your sleevesAble to multi-task, prioritise and execute to deliver high-quality results in fast-paced settingsExtensive understanding of food safety principles, particularly allergen & dietary management, and regulatory compliance requirementsStrong in kitchen operations in order to execute the menu to a high standardExposure in managing the food operations for large scale events & functionsA people leader that can inspire, coach on the job, delegate and foster a smooth and efficient kitchen operationBenefitsAuthentic Culture & Values that live beyond posters on the wallAccess to a range of programs & initiatives designed to support your wellbeingOpen a venue unlike anything Australia has seen beforeUnmatched growth opportunitiesFantastic Perks & Discounts exclusive to you and your friends across our venuesKingpin Melbourne is set to open Dec 2025.
