As Head of Education, you will lead the education team as they deliver violence prevention programs to children, families and professionals across the country. Gender Glorious Gender equity and inclusion. ABOUT THE ROLE Manage a team of Body Safety Australia educators and align team objectives with the Strategic Plan. Provide proactive strategies to foster staff wellbeing and embed Body Safety Australias commitment to diversity and inclusion. Ensure consistent, highquality educational experiences for children and their adults, including oversight of daytoday operational issues. Contribute to the overall strategic direction as part of the Executive, including leading a positive workplace culture and ensuring compliance with Child Safe Standards. KEY SELECTION CRITERIA: 3+ years senior leadership experience, ideally in an educational, youthfocused or family violence organisation. Experience building an inclusive and culturally safe environment for diverse communities, including Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTIQA+ communities, CALD communities and people with disabilities. Demonstrated experience supporting psychosocial health and wellbeing of a workforce supporting vulnerable populations. Highly developed leadership, communication and organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work collaboratively. An innovative and strengthbased approach to problem solving. Demonstrated experience and skills in performance management and conflict resolution. A strong commitment to the vision and values of Body Safety Australia.
