Whats on Offer? 17.5% leave loading Flexible work arrangements, including work from home options CBD Office No billable budgets or targets Supportive, inclusive team environment The Work Mix This is a unique role where youll enjoy a varied and engaging work mix, gaining exposure across a broad range of areas, with a focus on construction, infrastructure, and property law. Key responsibilities include: Project structuring and procurement, including joint ventures. Property transactions. Frontend construction work: Drafting and negotiating contracts such as design & construct, constructonly, project management agreements, subcontracts, payment claims and schedules, operation & maintenance agreements, and professional service agreements. Backend project support: Providing advice to address issues as they arise, managing risks, avoiding disputes, and assisting with dispute resolution processes. Corporate and commercial contracts: Negotiation, drafting, and ongoing management. Procurement policies and procedures. Youll be part of some of the states largest social infrastructure projects, including both upgrading existing facilities and delivering new ones. Your work will play a key role in shaping Queenslands infrastructure and supporting projects that make a meaningful, positive impact on the communitys wellbeing. What Were Looking For 5 to 10 years PAE in construction or property law Frontend advisory experience and contract drafting/negotiation QITC (or superseded GITC) experience is a plus but not essential Admission as a Solicitor in any Australian jurisdiction with a current unrestricted practising certificate Open to an initial 12month contract, with a view to extension/permanency Experience inhouse, government, or a national firm is ideal Why Apply Through Law Staff?
