About This Role Your new role: oversee all aspects of the Cardiac Science departments operations, strategic leadership, and clinical governance. Working closely with senior leaders and a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure the delivery of advanced and patientcentered care while promoting excellence in education and research. Responsibilities Leadership & Team Management: Lead and manage the Cardiac Science team, overseeing recruitment, staff development, performance appraisals, and fostering a culture of excellence in clinical practice. Operational & Financial Oversight: Direct the operational management of the department, including budget management and resource allocation for staffing, equipment, and procurement. Clinical Governance & Quality Improvement: Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and promote best practices across clinical services, with a focus on quality improvement and service innovation. Strategic Planning & Advocacy: Collaborate with the senior leadership team to guide service planning and provide advocacy for the profession at a statewide level. About You Extensive Clinical Expertise: Advanced experience in Cardiac Science, including specialized skills in echocardiography, cardiac diagnostics, and a broad understanding of clinical service delivery. Leadership & Team Development: Proven ability to lead, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary team, with experience in recruitment, staff development, and performance management. Strategic & Operational Management: Demonstrated ability to manage complex operations, including budget oversight, resource allocation, and workforce planning, with a focus on achieving strategic goals.
