Family Lawyer (3+ years PAE) - Varsity Lakes, Gold Coast We are recruiting on behalf of The Legal House , a boutique family law practice based in Varsity Lakes. This is a role for a family lawyer who wants to do good work, be trusted to get on with it, and work with normal, decent people. The practice is led by a genuinely kind and approachable founder. There is no micromanagement, no ego, and no expectation that you live at the office. What matters is doing your work well, treating clients with care, and being a good team member. Clients deal directly with their lawyer, calls are returned, and matters are handled thoughtfully and professionally. The role You will manage a broad range of family law matters including parenting, property settlements, child support and domestic violence matters. You will run your files end to end with real autonomy. You will appear in court for mentions, interim hearings and procedural matters. You will work closely with clients in sensitive and emotionally charged situations. You will be trusted to use your judgement and progress matters efficiently without unnecessary oversight. About you You are admitted as an Australian solicitor with at least three years post admission experience in family law. You are comfortable taking carriage of files without close supervision. You have court appearance experience and strong drafting skills. You communicate clearly and calmly with clients. You are practical, measured and care about doing your best work.
