Associate Director - Technology & Transformation || Australia || Head of Portfolio Management Enterprise Portfolio Leadership | Strategy to Value | Governance & Transformation Were partnering with an organisation undergoing significant enterprise change to appoint a senior Head of Portfolio Management. This is a highly visible leadership role responsible for bringing structure, transparency, and commercial discipline to a large, complex portfolio of initiatives across multiple business units. Operating at executive level, this role shapes enterprise portfolio strategy and governance from a foundational maturity level, providing independent oversight of delivery performance, risk, and value realisation. Youll work closely with senior leaders, Finance, Technology, and enterprise delivery functions to ensure strategic alignment and disciplined execution. This role does not own delivery execution. Instead, it provides enterprise-level oversight, challenge, and decision support, ensuring the right work is prioritised, funded, governed, and delivering measurable outcomes. What youll be doing Establish and embed enterprise portfolio governance, standards, and frameworks Maintain visibility across a large portfolio Lead portfolio strategy, roadmap development, and prioritisation Conduct independent reviews of in-flight projects and programs Provide executive insight on delivery confidence, risk, and trade-offs Drive benefits realisation, financial discipline, and investment transparency Influence uplift of change, project, and portfolio maturity across the organisation Support the development of a Portfolio Centre of Excellence What youll bring 15+ years experience in enterprise portfolio management, program leadership, or large-scale transformation Proven success establishing governance and value discipline in complex, matrixed environments Strong executive stakeholder management and advisory capability Deep experience in benefits realisation, financial governance, and prioritisation Background in regulated or compliance-driven industries (highly desirable) Strong systems thinking, commercial acumen, and data-driven decision making Experience with portfolio tooling (e.g., Planview, Jira, Azure DevOps) Seniority level Mid-Senior level Employment type Full-time Job function Project Management and Strategy/Planning #J-18808-Ljbffr
