We are seeking an experienced and values-driven Chief Medical Officer (CMO) to lead clinical governance, regulatory compliance, and medical excellence at Candor Medical, part of the Vitura Health Group. This role is responsible for ensuring safe, compliant, and high-quality clinical services, while mentoring medical teams, strengthening company culture, and supporting sustainable business growth. About the Role The Chief Medical Officer leads clinical governance and regulatory compliance while overseeing the implementation and rollout across new clinics, products, and services. They manage and mentor medical teams, ensure consistent, high-quality patient care, and support business growth through acquisitions and operational improvements. The role also drives positive company culture, effective communication, performance reporting, and the successful delivery of clinical projects. Key Responsibilities Oversee clinical governance frameworks, prescribing guidelines, regulatory compliance, and risk management Lead the implementation of governance & guidelines within new clinics and services, including portfolio alignment Identify and validate clinical, commercial and product growth opportunities with supporting strategy and insights Lead, mentor, recruit, and support doctor and nurse teams, ensuring effective processes, systems, and issue escalation Drive consistent, high-quality patient care, customer experience, and continuous operational improvement Analyse, monitor, and report on performance metrics, KPIs, projects, and initiatives across Specialty Clinics network Were looking for someone who is: Clinically skilled and patient-centred: You care deeply about quality patient care. Must-Haves Medical Degree and current AHPRA registration as a Medical Practitioner Previous experience in a similar role Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Professional indemnity insurance Highly regarded (but not essential) Previous experience in a leadership, supervisor or clinical governance role.
