Join to apply for the Solution Architect role at Australian Gas Networks (AGN) Who We Are Australian Gas Infrastructure Group (AGIG) owns, operates and invests in infrastructure which delivers gas to more than two million homes and businesses, and is one of the largest gas infrastructure businesses in Australia. AGIG manages distribution networks, transmission pipelines and storage capacity. AGIG recently grew to over 1,300 employees. We also manage a large contractor workforce, who provide both specialist and operating and maintenance services on AGIGs gas distribution networks. Our business is actively participating in the energy transition by delivering the natural gas needed today and advancing solutions for the future. We will continue to work with customers and stakeholders to deliver and develop the energy infrastructure solutions essential to lowering emissions including through natural gas, renewable gas and carbon capture and sequestration solutions. About The Opportunity This is a 6month fixedterm opportunity ideal for an experienced Solution Architect who is passionate about shaping technology solutions that support business transformation. Youll play a critical role in designing scalable, secure and robust architectures that align with AGIGs Enterprise Architecture and strategic digital initiatives. Working across multiple projects, youll collaborate with stakeholders and technical teams to ensure all solutions meet business needs, security standards and sustainability objectives. Key Responsibilities Translate business goals and requirements into clear, endtoend Solution Architectures Act as a trusted technical advisor for delivery teams across multiple digital initiatives Ensure all architectures align with Enterprise Architecture and Security Standards Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders for successful project delivery Support the ongoing development of AGIGs architecture practice and governance Contribute to AGIGs commitment to environmental and social sustainability Promote best practices in system integration across hybrid technology landscapes About You Minimum 5 years experience in Solution Architecture roles Tertiary qualifications in Information Technology or a related field Broad technical knowledge across Applications, Infrastructure, Cloud, Data and Security Demonstrated ability to deliver scalable and robust solutions in complex environments Experience integrating solutions across hybrid systems Excellent problemsolving, communication and documentation skills Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal capabilities Experience in the utilities sector is advantageous but not essential What We Offer We are proud to be recognised as an inclusive employer by Diversity Council Australia, and our commitment to diversity and inclusion has earned us recognition in 20232024.
