You will undertake a variety of groundbased tree maintenance activities ranging from the removal of trees to undertaking tree inspections using fieldbased GIS tree inspection software. On a daytoday basis you will work in a team of two running a truck and chipper and respond to customer requests and other tree related maintenance activities in response to the ongoing tree inspection program.Skills and ExperienceYou are highly experienced in the maintenance and removal of trees and have the ability to utilise those skills in the field to complete complex tree related work.You have the ability to lead others and provide onthejob training in the field to apprentices and nonqualified tree maintenance staff.You are experienced in the operation of plant and equipment required to complete tree related works including woodchippers, chainsaws, and pole saws.You have a proven history in the inspection of trees and provide detailed tree reports.You have a sound knowledge of arboriculture and tree management procedures and the relevant legislation, standards and guidelines.Position description can be viewed below or is available on the job advertisement on the Manningham careers'' section.How to applyClick APPLY to submit your up to date CV and cover letter addressing the key requirements of the role under the "Who are you?" section of the position description.
