This role ensures that the properties are maintained to the highest standards and within budget, and that the venues and ministry programs are wellequipped with the necessary infrastructure to achieve organizational objectives.ResponsibilitiesMaintenance ManagementOversee daytoday maintenance of the Shoalhaven properties, ensuring operational and regulatory standards are met.Coordinate all maintenance contractors, ensuring the scope of work is completed within listed requirements and budget.Make recommendations to the PPFF Manager regarding changes to scheduled maintenance.Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations and legislation.Staff ManagementOversee maintenance staff at the Shoalhaven properties.Assign tasks to staff according to skill sets and task priority.Assist the PPFF Manager with recruitment of maintenance staff.Train, mentor, and performance manage staff as required.Financial ManagementAdhere to expenditure limits as approved by the PPFF Manager.Authorize and enter invoices into YW systems before the due date.Ensure pay information is completed and submitted fortnightly.Health and Safety ComplianceEnsure that all operations comply with relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations.Continuous ImprovementIdentify opportunities for process improvements and suggest strategies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Stay informed about industry trends and best practices.What We Would Really Like You to HaveQualificationQualification in a trade such as carpentry, or equivalent evidence of tradelevel experience.ExperienceAt least 5 years of experience in maintaining commercial buildings or properties, and/or relevant commercial or practical experience, or a similar role.Experience in Christian MinistryBackground in ministry or significant involvement in Christian communities desirable.Experience leading a small team of staff.Personal AttributesPersonal Christian faith and active involvement in a local church.Professional approach and confident manner.Ability to work under pressure.Strong organisational and timemanagement skills.Excellent attention to detail.Positive approach to change.Additional InformationA clean driving record desirable.Verified NSW Working With Children Check number for paid employment.Churchbased safe ministry/safe church training.Safework NSW certifications.How to ApplyObtain the Position Description.
