Join us and be part of our inspiring journey.You will act as the clinical and technical support for clinicians with transcatheter valve replacement (TTVR) procedures. This includes screening patients, training implant and imaging teams on the device and procedure and taking the lead support for clinicians and imagers in the TTVR procedure. You will be heavily relied on as an expert providing guidance and options to the implant team.How you will make an impact:Act as a lead on all aspects within the therapy including imaging, integration and troubleshooting techniques related to equipment, software, tools and products required for clinical use including but not limited to intraoperative case coverage and coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs in the Cath LabEducate and train physicians, hospital personnel and hospital staff on all aspects of technical matters related to investigational products and procedures including imaging through conducting and/or coordinating one-on-one ad hoc training sessions and in-service structured education programs on two or more technologies or one highly specialized technologyProvide on-site, real-time guidance during clinical implants, including contingency planning to address unforeseen occurrences in support of assigned clinical investigations during complex clinical trial casesIdentify key components for a strategic plan of action and propose recommendations to sales reps and managers within respective territoryDocument procedural case observations for learning and training updates.Collaborate with product development teams to provide feedback and recommend solutions on device iterations and new device developmentIdentify and train select hospital staff members to act as designated expert on EW productsOther incidental dutiesWhat you''ll need (Required):Associate''s degree or equivalent in Associate''s or technical certification (e.g., echocardiography, nursing)7 years'' experience of previous related medical device and/or clinical experienceExperience as clinical specialist imaging/echocardiographer with TEE or CT experienceExperience in structural heart devices PreferredWhat else we look for (Preferred):Good imaging analysis software skills (e.g. 3Mensio, TomTec, Vitrea, Circle VI, etc.)Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication skillsAbility to effectively guide and instruct other imaging specialists in clinical settings on effective imaging equipment operationStrong diplomacy, influencing and relationship management skillsDemonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skillsAbility to work in a team environment, fostering collaboration between inter-departmental teams, HCPs and KOLsSubstantial knowledge in cardiovascular science and valvular heart disease processesSubstantial understanding of cardiovascular anatomy, pathology and physiology relevant to EW medical products as it relates to the businessSubstantial knowledge and understanding of principles, theories, and concepts relevant to cardiovascular imagingKnowledge of and adherence to Edwards Environmental Health and Safety and Quality guidelinesKnowledge of Good Clinical PracticesStrict attention to detailAbility to interact professionally with all organizational levelsAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast paced environmentSuccessful completion of Field Training Program and deemed certified in case management and 3 Mensio management and 150 cases as a primary FCSMust be Certified Field Trainer who has successfully mentored employees through the TMTT Field Training Program or "In-house Mentor" spending 3-5 days per quarter either with the Marketing team or Physician Sales Training team to collaborate on content ideas and marketing messaging.Must be able to work in a team environment, including inter-departmental teams and key contact representing the organization on projectsAbility to interact with senior internal and external personnel on significant matters often requiring coordination between organizations while understanding implications of work and interdependencies with stakeholdersAdhere to all company rules and requirements (e.g., pandemic protocols, Environmental Health & Safety rules) and take adequate control measures in preventing injuries to themselves and others as well as to the protection of environment and prevention of pollution under their span of influence/controlThis is a truly unique opportunity to utilise your cardiac sonographer skills in a groundbreaking portfolio.
