The ideal candidate will have a strong background in landscape construction, excellent attention to detail, and a passion for creating stunning outdoor spaces. This position requires physical stamina, a positive attitude, and a willingness to work in various weather conditions.Duties and ResponsibilitiesLandscape Construction: Implement landscape designs, including planting, hardscaping (patios, walkways, retaining walls, paving, stairs, ponds, pergolas, decks), and turf installation.Site Preparation: Prepare sites for planting and construction by clearing debris, grading, and leveling ground as needed.Planting: Select, plant, and maintain trees, shrubs, flowers, and other landscaping elements according to design specifications.Equipment Operation: Safely operate landscaping equipment, including trimmers, excavators, and other machinery, all heavy machinery only with correct qualifications and tickets.Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, pruning, weeding, and fertilizing to ensure the health and aesthetics of landscapes.Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, designers, and other team members to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide updates on project progress.Safety Compliance: Follow safety protocols and best practices to ensure a safe work environment for yourself and your team.Skills & ExperienceAQF Certificate III minimum with two years experience, or equivalent qualifications, or at least three years relevant experience in lieu of qualifications in landscape construction and maintenance.Knowledge of plant types, landscaping techniques, and equipment operation.Knowledge of local plants and environmental considerations in the Sunshine Coast area is advantageous.Strong physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects.Excellent communication and teamwork skills.A valid driver''s license.Landscape-related certification ideal.White card.Competitive rate.Opportunities for professional development and training.A supportive and collaborative work environment.Tools and equipment provided.How to ApplyPlease submit your resume and a cover letter detailing your experience and why you would be a great fit for our team.Stay Safe While Job HuntingWe vet all employer accounts and do our best to keep job ads safe, but scams can still occur.
