About this role:Sirius College is seeking a dedicated and highlyorganised Pastoral Care and Wellbeing Advisor to support theongoing development and delivery of our Pastoral Care andWellbeing (PCW) programs. This role plays a vital part infostering a safe, supportive, and thriving school environmentfor both students and staff.Working closely with the Directors of PastoralCare and Wellbeing, Executive Principal, Campus Principals, andkey internal stakeholders, the successful candidate willcoordinate a wide range of wellbeing initiatives, events, andprograms across the school. This position requires excellentcommunication skills, strong attention to detail, and theability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic schoolsetting.Key Responsibilities:Coordinate and manage PCW-related events including camps,social gatherings, workshops, professional development,seminars, and student programs.Oversee event logistics such as invitations, registrations,budgeting, venue booking, catering, guest speakers, andscheduling.Support interstate and international student and staffparticipation in competitions and conventions.Ensure effective follow-up and execution of agenda itemsfrom PCW coordination meetings.Participate in key PCW and management meetings, ensuringtimely follow-up of action items.Organise PCW community engagement programs in collaborationwith the Community Engagement Manager and otherdepartments.Assist PCW Directors with planning, content development,and creation of resources to enhance student wellbeingoutcomes.Coordinate student accommodation requests in partnershipwith relevant school leaders.Support development and wellbeing initiatives for theschool''s Mentoring Program.Coordinate and support social responsibility andfundraising activities.Assist with the preparation and maintenance of the annualPCW Master Calendar.More information on the jobtasks and responsibilities can be found in the Job Descriptionattached .Knowledge Skills & Abilities:A deep understanding of Pastoral Care and Wellbeingframeworks and student development priorities.Tertiary qualifications in Teaching, Business, or a relatedfield.Strong organisational skills with experience coordinatinglarge-scale events and programs.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with theability to engage effectively with staff and students.Knowledge of the school''s pastoral care history,goals, and vision.Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with a rangeof stakeholders.Comprehensive understanding of child safety requirementsand their application in school events and programs.A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) or VITregistration is essential.Job Applications close : Thursday, 19 February2026**Early applications are appreciated to assist theinterview process.
