If you were here last week, these are some of the things you may have done:Working in the social model means you will work in diverse settings; from homes and schools to playgrounds, workplaces, and community centresUtilizing an evidence-based measurement tool and your skills in assessment, you will create targeted therapy plans to improve quality of life and to support participants in achieving their goals and maximizing NDIS funding using Assistive TechnologyCollaborating with NDIS participants, their supports, and Assistive Technology suppliers to assess, trial and prescribe Assistive Technology solutions to support people towards their goalsProviding capacity building support for participants to embed Assistive Technology and Home Modifications into their daily routines and habits.Work within an interdisciplinary team of passionate and dedicated allied health professionals to ensure that recommended Assistive Technology is embedded within a person''s everyday environment and routineBuilding meaningful relationships with the participants and their supports (family, carers, friends), as well as key suppliers and stakeholders in the communityAttend weekly team meetings in the Hub; sharing stories of impact, coffee, and laughsYou will tap into the knowledge and support of your Team Leader and dedicated Assistive Technology Therapy MentorWho We Are Looking ForAt Everyday Independence, our team thrives on shared values and a collaborative spirit.
