(pro-rata) plus 17% superannuation.About the areaThe School of Human Sciences is a large multi-disciplinary entity with research and teaching focused on better understanding of what it is to be human, our structure, function, development, genetics, adaptation, performance, and evolution. The School is ranked in the world''s top 30 universities for Anatomy and Physiology, and Exercise and Sports Science. Programs offered through the School include majors in Anatomy and Human Biology, Exercise and Health, Neuroscience, Physiology, and Sports Science. Teaching responsibilities extend further into the major of Medical Science. The School manages a very productive research program, supervising Honours, Masters and PhD students.The School of Human Sciences delivers a variety of postgraduate courses, including the Master of Clinical Audiology. National and international opportunities in this field have resulted in the creation of a new position in teaching, research and clinical applications in Audiology.About the opportunityDeliver high-quality teaching and clinical training in Audiology, contributing to the design, coordination and assessment of postgraduate units within the Master of Clinical Audiology, and supervising student research projects.Build an active research profile in Audiology, undertaking independent and collaborative research, publishing in high-impact journals, supervising HDR students, and enhancing the School''s national and international reputation.Engage with the profession and broader community, contributing to program development, governance and service activities, partnering with external clinical and industry stakeholders, and advocating for hearing health practice and policy.About youMaster of Clinical Audiology degree (or equivalent).PhD in an academic field relevant to discipline.Be eligible for full membership with Audiology Australia and its Certificate of Clinical Practice.Capacity to teach clinical audiology, and demonstrate the ability to deliver high quality teaching, as well as knowledge of a variety of teaching and assessment methods.Evidence of research in Audiology such as grant, awards and/or publications in peer reviewed scientific journals.Demonstrate evidence of successful supervision or co-supervision or mentoring of HDR, Honours and research students.Demonstrated ability to relate well to staff and students at all levels, and evidence of a commitment to equity and diversity principles.Note: Employment checks will include information on gender-based violence, sexual harassment, and related misconduct to meet legal obligations.Please apply online via the Apply Now button and address the selection criteria in your submission in a separate document.
