With eggexciting growth and expansion on the horizon, now''s a great time to join us and be part of our continued success!Warehouse & Transport ManagerAbout The RoleWe''re seeking an experienced Warehouse & Transport Manager to oversee the storage, handling, and distribution of ungraded and graded eggs, along with packaging materials, across our operations. This role is critical to ensuring product integrity, food safety compliance, animal welfare standards, and efficient logistics that meet customer requirements. Leading both warehouse and transport teams, you''ll be responsible for delivering high service levels while maintaining strong standards across safety, quality, and cost efficiency. This is a handson leadership role within a fastpaced, perishable goods environment.What You''ll DoWarehouse OperationsManage daily warehouse activities including receivals, storage, stock rotation, and dispatch of eggs and packaging materialsEnsure inventory accuracy through cycle counts and reconciliation with ERP/WMS systemsImplement and maintain FIFO and food safety requirements for perishable goodsMaintain clean, organised, and compliant warehouse environments aligned with HACCP, QA, and biosecurity standardsOversee packaging materials management to ensure uninterrupted supply to production and grading operationsTransport & DistributionPlan and schedule transport to grading floors, external storage locations, and customersManage fleet operations (companyowned or contracted), including compliance, maintenance, and driver managementEnsure deliveries meet customer service levels and Chain of Responsibility (CoR) requirementsMonitor and control transport costs while optimising routes and vehicle utilisationManage returns and rejected product with a strong focus on traceabilityLeadership & People ManagementLead, develop, and motivate warehouse and transport teams to achieve performance and safety targetsEnsure appropriate staffing levels, training, and capability to meet operational demandBuild a culture of accountability, safety, and continuous improvementCompliance, Safety & Continuous ImprovementEnsure compliance with WHS, HACCP, QA, food safety, and retailer standardsMaintain auditready records and reporting across warehouse and transport operationsAnalyse KPIs including DIFOT, stock accuracy, damages, costs, and safety metricsImplement improvements to reduce waste, improve efficiency, and enhance customer serviceContribute logistics insights into S&OP and production planning processesAbout YouYou''re a confident operational leader with a strong background in warehouse and transport management, ideally within FMCG or perishable goods.
