This role is perfect for someone looking to make a real difference in the lives of clients while gaining flexible, handson experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.Start Date: 8th DecemberDuration: 4 weeksWorkload: Up to 4 days per week (availability Monday Friday required)About UPG:At UPG, our physiotherapists are passionate about delivering exceptional care across multiple health care settings. Our work spans aged care facilities and community services across VIC, TAS, NSW, QLD & WA. We also operate a Flagship Studio providing Pilates, Yoga, private physiotherapy, and sports physiotherapy services. As part of our team, you''ll have the opportunity to work across a variety of settings while focusing on your residential care caseload.Responsibilities:Conduct comprehensive assessments, develop treatment plans, and deliver clinical care to clientsCommunicate with residents, families, nursing staff, medical practitioners, allied health practitioners, case managers, and equipment suppliersPrescribe and review exercises, including leading exercise groupsCollaborate with the broader clinical team and facility management to deliver tailored careManage daily schedules effectively, including clinical and non-clinical tasksParticipate in professional development and mentoring opportunitiesDeliver education sessions such as falls prevention and manual handling to staffQualifications & Skills:AHPRA General RegistrationClinical skills to perform assessments, treatment, risk assessments, and mentor junior therapistsStrong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a teamAppropriate working visas, National Police Certificate, and NDIS/Working with Children CheckCompetitive remuneration for locum/short-term workComprehensive orientation and supportive environmentOpportunities for professional developmentExposure to a variety of care settings and clinical experiencesIf this sounds like you, please outline your relevant experience in a cover letter and send your resume to [email protected].#J-18808-Ljbffr
