Civil Project Managers CCMackay GenJoin to apply for the Civil Project Managers CCMackay Gen role at EGroup Protective Services Group Pty LtdCompanyEGroup Protective Services Group Pty LtdLocationMackay, Queensland, AustraliaOverviewWe are regularly tendering for works in the Mackay area and are seeking expressions of interest from experienced professional Civil Project Managers in the road construction / maintenance industry. The role is for a period of approximately 12 years with a possibility of ongoing extensions and other projects.Mandatory RequirementsAt least 5 years prior Civil Roads Infrastructure construction experience with the Department of Transport and Main Roads in Queensland or alternatively, any Australian State Government Road Authority, either directly or indirectly with a construction company or construction consultant.Road construction and maintenance delivery experience will be required to manage & lead the projects during the delivery phase from a contractor''s standpoint, including competence with the following areas:Budgeting, programming, monitoring expenditure, controlling resources and reviewing priorities.Manage Labour, Plant, Materials and Subcontract within budget and time constraints.Undertaking various contract management activities including client liaison.Procurement of road making materials and project services within guidelines.Implement PM techniques and systems in accordance with systems and processes.Submit reports and provide information to management within timeframes.Train and guide project staff on specifications and construction processes.Contribute to the estimating process for bids or offers.A high standard in traffic management.Strong experience & knowledge of TMR Technical Specifications.Experience delivering TIC(SI), MW and RMPC contracts for TMR or similar clients.Working knowledge of SAP, P6 or other similar project management packages.Strong written, verbal communication & computer literacy skills.Experience with QMS, and their effective application on construction projects.Experience with Project Management Systems, including Safety and Environment.Welldeveloped interpersonal and consultative skills.Current drivers licence.The proposed hours are 38 per week; however longer hours & weekend work may be required to suit workload. The role is Mackay based, but some work away in regional or remote locations may be required depending on requirements.You must have the right to work in Australia & already be living in Queensland (or willing to relocate yourself from anywhere in Australia).Civil Services Group is a specialist Civil Project Management and Delivery Company based in Queensland with a strong track record in delivering major projects.
