This may be the role for you!What does the role entail?The Service Delivery Coordinator will be responsible for supporting the delivery of orders to customers. This will be done through ensuring the effective scheduling of product from estimating and pricing, customer order and order processing, procurement, production scheduling to transport and logistics coordination so that Furphy customers receive their orders in full, on time, with the supporting quality and document controls to specification. The Service Delivery Coordinator will have experience across the product life cycle from estimating to purchasing, production and logistics coordination within a manufacturing environment. The successful incumbent will be able to read and interpret technical fabrication drawings and ideally have experience using project scheduling software (MS Project or ClickUp preferred) and ERP systems (Dynamics preferred). The role suits an individual with strong communication and organisational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy and timely information is recorded and forwarded to key stakeholders across the product life cycle.Key responsibilities and breakdown of the roleLeadership & Team CoordinationProvide daytoday supervision, guidance, and workload coordination for the Service Delivery Officer.Develop and maintain standard work, processes, and controls for order management.Support a culture of quality, continuous improvement, and customer focus.Liaise with the Operations Manager to escalate issues requiring higherlevel decision making.EstimationPrepare estimates/quotes using established data tables for standard products and build pricing for nonstandard products.Ensure estimation aligns with standard labour rates, materials, and process capabilities.Maintain pricing database to be used for sixmonthly pricing reviews.Ensure quotes are completed within the agreed timeframes.Order Processing & AdministrationOversee accurate entry and maintenance of customer orders in ERP system.Ensure job cards are generated, updated, and issued to production with correct revision levels.Manage revisions, engineering change notices (ECN), and drawing updates to ensure full document traceability and accuracy.Ensure schedules are realistic, maintained, and communicated to customers and stakeholders.Maintain accuracy of master data and inventory records.Ensure order processing is completed within agreed timeframe.Purchasing & Material CoordinationReview BOMs and raise purchase orders for materials, components and services.Follow up suppliers regarding delivery dates, shortages, and quality issues.Monitor inventory levels and support stocktake processes.Track supplier performance.Production Scheduling & Workflow CoordinationEnsure all work orders are scheduled in accordance with the guidelines and priorities established by the Operations Manager.Maintain and update the production schedule, incorporating new orders, changes, ECNs, material availability, and capacity constraints.Coordinate closely with the Production/Quality Coordinator to ensure schedules are realistic, achievable, and aligned to machine and labour capacity.Ensure all work orders have the required materials, drawings, and information available prior to production handover to the Production/Quality Coordinator.Facilitate production scheduling meetings with Production/Quality Coordinator to review progress, issues, and required adjustments.Maintain and continuously improve scheduling logic, rules, and planning parameters.Track schedule adherence and drive corrective action when targets are missed.Coordinate with service providers as required.Keep customers informed of dispatch timing, delays, and delivery confirmations.Document & Drawing ControlMaintain the drawing library for Fabricated Products.Ensure all production documentation reflects the correct revision.Manage ECNs, customersupplied drawings, and updated specifications.Maintain traceability in accordance with ISO 9001 and internal quality systems as required.Ensure correct delivery documentation, including delivery dockets and picking slips, are supplied.What you will needRequired skillsExperience in estimation, purchasing, production administration, customer service or similar role in manufacturing.Ability to read, interpret and understand technical fabrication drawings.Strong communication and coordination skills.Experience with ERP systems (Dynamics or similar).Ability to manage competing priorities in a fastpaced environment.High levels of accuracy and attention to detail.Effective and proactive approach to problem solving and issue resolution.Proven experience in creating and managing schedules using Microsoft Project, ClickUp or similar software.Demonstrated experience in managing a small team within a fastpaced work environment.A valid Australian or International Driver''s Licence.Desirable skillsExperience in steel fabrication or engineering environments.Knowledge of galvanising, painting, and other postfabrication processes.Knowledge of ISO 9001 quality systems.Tertiary qualifications in Business, Engineering, or related discipline.Apply today!
