Due to continued growth, they are seeking an experienced Area Sales Manager to service Melbourne''s key inner east and Bayside territory.This is an exciting opportunity to join a highly motivated team who are passionate about what they do. Reporting to the Field Sales Manager you will be commercially orientated and highly motivated to drive sales growth and brand awareness through education and promotions, across both on and off premise accounts.Your key focus will be exceeding sales targets and building long-term relationships with new and existing customers. You will achieve this by utilising an exceptional product mix across the Coopers portfolio, supported by promotional plans and a strong senior leadership team.ResponsibilitiesDevelop long-term, strategic relationships with all customersContribute to the execution of national plans, strategies and budgetsSupport national business objectives with new product developmentComplete sales, finance, administration and general reportingExecution and compliance of promotional & strategic plansAlways deliver a high level of customer serviceIdentify new business development opportunitiesWork collaboratively with the State sales team to achieve budgets and distribution targets and contribute to the company cultureActively participate in state meetings by sharing territory knowledgeManage a geographical territory and journey plannerEffective manage territory utilising CRM (Rhino) and journey plansUse data insights to create growth opportunitiesAbout you:Ideally sales experience within drinks industryExcellent relationship and influencing skillsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsSound commercial acumen and negotiation skillsAbility to contribute to business improvement and innovationSolutions orientated with a customer service mindsetAbilty to manage your time, meet deadlines and prioritise tasksSelf motivated, confident and enthusiasticPassionate about beer and the wider the drinks industryA valid Australian drivers licence and full working rightsThe successful applicant will need to be a team player, results orientated with outstanding communication skills and organisational aptitude.In return you will be rewarded with a very attractive remuneration package, join an iconic Australian beer giant and be given an established client base where you can hit the ground running.
