You will play a key role within a supportive team in ensuring high levels of patient care are provided.Key responsibilitiesOversee safe, quality care that meets current best practice standardSupport and liaise with the Perioperative Services Manager, staff and VMO anaesthetistUnderstand legislative requirements, ACORN and sterilisation standardKnowledge of accreditation processes and quality / risk managementEssential criteriaCurrent registration with AHPRAPrevious experience in a CN / Recovery / PACU role, or more than 34 years in an anaesthetic nurse teamleader roleCompleted relevant postgraduate qualification or commitment to commence within 12 months of appointmentCommitment to quality patient careCompliance with NSQHC national standardsSound clinical decisionmaking and problemsolving skillsExperience in a similar position (desired)Excellent communication and customerservice skillsHighly organised and strong ability to prioritise tasksAbout UsWith 120 inpatient surgical and medical beds, a rehabilitation gym, seven operating theatres, two procedure rooms, a day oncology unit and an ICU, Sunnybank Private Hospital has been providing care to our local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care.Why Healthscope?When you join Healthscope, you become part of our community of care.
