NoOffer DescriptionFull-time, Continuing positionSalary HEW 9 ($135,978 - $145,693) + 17% Superannuation and Flexible Working ArrangementsBased at the Melbourne CBD campusAbout the RoleThe Manager, Innovation Programs provides expert advice in innovation practices, programs and frameworks and operational leadership of targeted strategic initiatives that facilitate the translation and delivery of mission-based research.The role will focus on program development and delivery, strategic planning and coordination, stakeholder engagement and pipeline tracking, for key initiatives that feed into RMIT''s large-scale initiatives pipeline. This includes supporting RMIT''s High Impact-Potential Initiatives (HIPI) Program - a key program that facilitates a unique approach to co-design, mentorship and leadership development, supporting transdisciplinary teams to build capacity and capability to catalyse novel concepts that explore white spaces for interdisciplinary research impact.This role will work closely with RMIT''s Enabling Impact Platform (EIP) Directors and Research Partnerships and Translation team to contribute to a high-quality pipeline of RMIT led initiatives.We encourage those with a commitment to helping create impact from research and have a drive to work on groundbreaking initiatives to apply.To be successful for this position, you''ll also have:Demonstrated experience developing and delivering innovation practices, programs and frameworks that enhance industry engagement, support translation of research and delivery of mission-based research (experience in supporting academics and researchers would be advantageous).Demonstrated expertise in coordinating and managing the delivery of services and input from internal and external subject matter experts in complex working environments and teams.Demonstrated strong people leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, including capacity to initiate, lead and manage in a challenging and dynamic environment.Excellent communication, influencing and interpersonal skills that support effective working relationships with internal and external groups and individuals at all levels, achieving outcomes through collaboration, negotiation and influence.Please view position description for further selection criteriaPlease Note: Appointment to this position is subject to passing a Working with Children and National Police Check.About the PortfolioRMIT''s Research and Innovation Portfolio supports researchers to help shape the world.
