Your Next Role Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will play a key role in supporting maintenance and operational teams by identifying, managing, and improving electrical and production automation processes. You will bring technical expertise and a collaborative mindset to help lift equipment effectiveness and operational outcomes across the site. All our people go home in the same condition they came to work; safety before production. Proactively manage and maintain automation systems across the area. Collaborate closely with operations teams to support electrical safety, effective flow control, and production optimisation. Recommend and implement electrical and mechanical improvements by partnering with internal and external stakeholders on various site projects. Act as a mentor to others in the electrical team, sharing knowledge and helping build capability to resolve complex electrical issues. Carry out tasks in line with defined standards and in compliance with all relevant quality, environmental, legislative and regulatory requirements. Location You will be based at our plant in Tumbarumba, NSW. About You Recognised electrical trade qualification. Significant experience working with PLC, DCS and SCADA systems. Strong skills in Allen Bradley/PILZ PLC programming and faultfinding, as well as AC drives and associated systems. Experience with hydraulics and pneumatics (highly regarded). First aid certification (or willingness to obtain). Strong computer literacy, ideally with experience using Pronto or a similar CMMS. Background in technical service delivery, planning and stakeholder engagement, ideally within a manufacturing setting. Exposure to lean manufacturing principles, especially problemsolving frameworks, is a plus. Why Hyne Timber?
