Due to company expansion, we are currently seeking an experienced and ambitious Commercial Business Director - SMB / SME to join the Commercial Team of our System Business Group in Melbourne , reporting to the Head of Commercial - SYS BG . As the Commercial Business Director - SMB / SME, you will shape and execute national commercial strategies across SMB, SME, Hybrid, and retail markets. You will be working hands-on with the SYS Commercial SMB & SME Team to build and strengthen key relationships, drive market presence and deliver sustainable growth for ASUS across Australia. Key responsibilities of the role include but are not limited to: Developing and leading national strategic growth plans for the SMB, SME, Hybrid, and retail verticals; Working closely with the SYS Commercial SMB Team as well as the SYS Commercial Product Management Team to align market priorities with portfolio direction; Translating strategies into clear action plans and driving execution alongside the SYS Commercial Teams; Taking a highly hands-on leadership approach, directly engaging in priority accounts, strategic pursuits, and key initiatives with the SYS Commercial Teams; Proactively identifying and progressing new opportunities across assigned verticals to strengthen the national pipeline; Building and managing strong relationships with SMB, SME, Hybrid and retail strategic partners to enable long-term engagement and market penetration; Leveraging established national network within given verticals to influence outcomes; Working with the Marketing and Product Management Teams to execute channel-wide promotions; Researching the market, identifying industry trends and key decision-makers to shape national marketing or promotional initiatives with internal stakeholders; Leading, coaching and supporting the SYS Commercial Team to deliver consistent performance outcomes; Monitoring industry, technology, and market developments, and providing insights to the senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor''s Degree in Business or related disciplines What Were Looking For: Minimum 15 years of experience within the IT industry, including at least 10 years in leadership roles Demonstrated success in leading SMB / SME teams within dynamic and highly competitive environments Well-established and demonstrated relationships with SMB / SME / Hybrid and retail commercial resellers, with a strong understanding of their businesses Strong commercial judgement and ability to influence senior stakeholders Proven ability to build effective internal and external partnerships Strong leadership capability with a collaborative and hands-on approach Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across different levels of stakeholders Highly developed presentation and negotiation skills Exceptional time management, prioritisation, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capabilities Australian citizen or permanent resident with unlimited working rights within Australia, no overseas applicants.
