As our operations continue to grow, were looking for an experienced and motivated Fleet Controller to join our team in Allansford, Warrnambool. About the Role This is a key operational role where youll be responsible for keeping our fleet moving safely, efficiently and on schedule. Youll work closely with drivers, customers and internal stakeholders to ensure day-to-day transport operations run smoothly and service commitments are met. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and monitor daily fleet operations, including trucks, drivers and routes Allocate vehicles and drivers to meet delivery schedules and operational requirements Monitor driver performance, compliance with fatigue and NHVR requirements, and company policies Communicate operational updates, safety alerts and procedural changes to drivers Manage customer bookings and provide service support Review, sign off and complete data entry for driver run sheets Maintain vehicle and trailer documentation and manage servicing and maintenance requirements Promote and maintain a safe working environment in line with road laws, workplace legislation and company safety policies Undertake general on-site operational tasks as required About You Youll bring a strong transport background and a genuine commitment to safety, along with: Experience in fleet allocation and scheduling (preferred) Sound knowledge of NHVR laws and compliance requirements Demonstrated positive safety leadership and safety-first mindset Intermediate computer skills and accurate data entry capability Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team Professional communication skills when dealing with customers and drivers A strong work ethic and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment Why Join Wettenhalls?
